Five reasons you need a MICHELIN Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) for your tow car and caravan

The MICHELIN TPMS is quickly becoming one of the must-have motoring gadgets of 2019 and is ideally suited for tow car and caravan owners.

In this blog, we look at five top reasons why a MICHELIN TPMS should be top of your shopping list before your summer getaway:

  1. Reassurance before every journey: Most manufacturers recommend you check tyre pressures at least once a month and before any long journey – but let’s be honest, it’s not always easy to remember. Our unique ‘overnight mode’ will inform you of a low pressure tyre before you depart.
  2. Instant tyre pressures: No more bending down to remove valve caps every time you want to check your pressures. Just press the button on the display unit for readings in either Psi or Bar, at any stage during your journey.
  3. Problem tyre?: At the first sign of a tyre in distress, our system will make sure know about it. The MICHELIN TPMS provides a visual alert at 15% under-inflation, plus an audible alert if the pressure in any tyre drops by 25% or more, or if fast leakage is detected.
  4. A load of hot air: There’s even an alert should the internal tyre temperature exceed 90 degrees Celsius. This is the level which can indicate possible brake or hub issues within the axle, or the tyre getting too hot – often the sign of an impending blowout!
  5. Peace of mind: Tyres are the only part of your vehicle in contact with the road’s surface, and that makes them a key safety feature worth looking after. We’re confident you won’t find a comparable TPMS which is as affordable, easy to fit or more accurate – not to mention one backed by one of the world’s largest tyre manufacturers.
